2016 NPDF K-9 Hero Awards Luncheon

The National Police Dog Foundation held its 2016 NPDF Hero Awards Luncheon on March 23, 2016 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ventura, CA.

NOMINATION INTRODUCTION:
Sheriff Geoff Dean spoke of the incident in which K-9 Dano saved his partner’s life, becoming NPDF’s first K-9 Hero of the Year.

Sr. Deputy Danielle Delpit and K-9 ‘Dano’ of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, recipient of the our first K-9 Hero of the Year Award for saving Sr. Deputy Delpit’s life.
